We’re very excited to announce UTSC’s first miniMBA program! The miniMBA will be 8 sessions long.
The first session is Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. The course is to be introduced on February 13th,2018 from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to easily deliver useful business information clearly and concisely within 10 sessions. Students will learn MBA knowledge that can be applied to everyday business situations. This course will provide opportunities to network through sessions run by experienced professionals.

Organizational Behaviour
Marketing
Entrepreneurship
Accounting
Finance
Operations
Economics
Consulting
The sessions will be split up into 3 main components. Students will be expected to read the corresponding chapter prior to the session. The first half hour will consist of a review of the material. This will be followed by a seminar from the instructor including a question and answer or panel discussion period. Finally, there will be a team activity to demonstrate and utilize the content covered that day.
An overarching capstone project (to be introduced in session 1) will be used to develop a proposal utilizing multiple MBA subjects. This exercise will allow for incorporation of many MBA topics and will be handling a real business case.
