Whether you are beginning to explore management consulting as a career path or currently in the process of recruiting for a firm, case competitions are a fantastic opportunity to develop your collaborative problem-solving skills.
In our virtual 10-day Winter Case Competition, The Strategic Dose, participants will work in teams to tackle real-life business challenges and present their solutions to judges from our partnering firms. This unique opportunity will help participants assess their aptitude and enthusiasm for a career in management consulting while also learning from judges who have successfully transitioned into the industry.
For questions or concerns about this event, please do not hesitate to e-mail us at info@gmcacanada.com.
Participating teams will have a total of 10 days to create their final slide deck. The case will be released on April 6th (12:01 AM ET) and teams must submit their slide deck by April 15th (11:59 PM ET). The Strategic Dose will take place on April 16th (6:30 PM – 9:30 PM ET) and will consist of two rounds: a preliminary and final round. Each team will give a 10-minute presentation of their recommended solution to a panel of judges from our partnering consulting firms. Presentations will be followed by a 10-minute Q&A period. This year, we will be awarding $1,000 in monetary prizes!
The deadline to submit your general team application is Monday, March 30th, at 5:00 PM ET. Eligible teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage interested participants to register early. You will be notified of your application status on Wednesday, April 1st, at 5:00 PM ET.
